I bought a Brodit mount and iPhone holder for my car. While the mount was perfectly fine, I didn't like the holder. So I took some inspiration from other models around here and printed my own one. The measurements are taken from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1412503 while the design is inspired by http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1742323. The width was designed for an iPhone 6 with a 0.3mm cover, so you might want to adjust the design or add some black tape as padding if you want to use it...

Months ago I've printed the Power Stand by ManuRU, but now I need something bigger with more space between plugs and with more stands to hold more plugs. It stores 8 EU plugs. I have a variety of filament spools, some have only a 10mm hole, most are wider than the holder, I also wanted a guide and tension control for the filament, these have a couple of holes underneath the front that take 6mm of a 3mm screw thread. Clips work surprisingly well, I did 3 test parts before settling on a 1mm clearance. Added a kit for half rollers, if you have a failed one then print a single.

Summary GO PENGUINS! It was between Sid and Lemieux. Went with Crosby because it was easier to fit the name on the back.:) The emblem was hard to print at this scale so I included both a split and complete version if you just want to paint it. Printed with supports and used a brim and supports for the helmet. The visor was some lexon I had laying around that I heated and shaped. I designed a housing for a 12v Cob light I had on hand; so now I have a very bright work-light. This enclosure required absolutely no support. I may also make a light stand for my desk.
