what's better for america? a tax cut to make corporations richer and ceos richer and investments that are going to make our country stronger, more competitive, and lift up the standard for everybody. and by the way, this is not punishing anybody. all those folks are still going to have two homes, and three homes, their jets. won't matter. not going to change their standing one little bit. not surprisingly, critics say they worry that i'm going to stunt economic growth by raising taxes on corporations and wealthy. there's just one problem with their argument. the facts. experts have looked at it. the last time taxes were around the rates i'm proposing was in the '90s and the economy boomed. america created 20 million new jobs in 8 years when these were the tax rates, and the facts are, the american economy has had record job creation and growth under the same kind of plan i'm proposing, and here's why. our economy has always done best when everyone pays their fair share. again, i'm not looking to punish anybody.

and the flow of migrants from central america certainly is part of that. look, there are people inside the white house who think she did not perform as well or conduct herself as well as perhaps she should have with the simple questions of, are you going to visit the border? this is something the white house has been grappling with. everyone in the white house, not just her, over the last several months. is immigration a crisis? the white house is really, you know, declined to use that word. same as visiting the border. they do not belief that -- they wanted it to overtake the agenda. because of all that, because of all the reluctance to do that, we saw vice president harris, she was flippant at one point, she was like, i've not visited europe as well, i've not visited the border, and then she said she would. inside the white house, there is very much -- it's a two-person shop. this is not one unit, necessarily. the west wing has been really planning and preparing for president biden's trip here and a separate group have been working on vice president harr

america speaks with one voice. you can summarize joe biden's foreign policy decisions by multi lateral diplomacy of joe biden versus america's first. so there is a great deal of elation in the world, most of the world. yet at the same time, the world is waiting to see the specifics. there is little about specificity. no details. think of joe biden's domestic politics. very highly ambitious. it's really joe biden's proactive on the offensive. he wants to transform the american economy. he wants to bridge divide inside america. yet in terms of foreign policy, he is not as ambitious. it's cautious. that is why the world is waiting to see the specific policies. as i say, did devil lies in the details. >> so where does tehran look at this, though? they certainly feel like america pulled out of the deal, that they want america to make the first outreach here. they want sanctions lifted before anything is done from tehran's point of view. how is some sort of compromise reached between tehran and d.c. here? >> robyn, there

america at its best. to me, that's the central lesson of september 11th. it's that at our most vulnerable, in the push and pull of all that makes us human, in the battle for the soul of america, unity is our greatest strength. unity doesn't mean we have to believe the same thing. but we must have a fundamental respect and faith in each other and in this nation. >> hmm. unity means that we don't have to all believe the same thing but we have to have a fundamental respect. think of all the sacrifices we made after 9/11. think of how americans came together. our unity, as joe biden says. now, some of us won't even get a shot or wear a mask to save precious american lives. we are losing as many people, every two days, as we lost on that terrible day of 9/11. and it is completely avoidable if we don't let politics divide us, and steal away american lives. the president is trying to end the pandemic, and some republican governors are fighting him. do they really want to play politics while americans are dying? >> politics doesn't have to be this way. politics do
