the valleys of the inland east bay would get a first. if you are close to the delta, thick fog tomorrow morning, concord, you have it this morning. san mateo bridge is foggy this morning. meanwhile, the other bridge we typically think of as being foggy was not because this is not the fog we are accustomed to that comes off the coast and first hits the golden gate and streams inland. this is different stuff, this is coming in from the central valley. we get it in slightly different places. if you are in the north bay valleys, or the east bay, it will be foggiest for you tomorrow morning. current numbers right now, mid- 60s. the temperatures were great, 10 degrees above average for daytime highs today. tomorrow morniwe down in w-s, cool 48 in santa rosa but everybody else's low to mid-50s with the exception of 49 in concord. once again, for tomorrow, the fog is gone by 10:30, 11:00 in the morning. if you wake up late, you did not know it was a thing. and then it is sunny, i take that back, a few high clouds tomorrow and not as crystal clea

of the inland valleys. it was that way around concord and santa rosa. now there is no fog looking over 580. let me show you a very positive sign for my tomorrow morning was probably going to be the first one of the last four we don't have to deal with that again. if you look at northern california from space, you can see that sick bank of fog in the central valley. you can see the high clouds moving really fast. that white blanket is the fog. watch the northern boundary of it. that is 2 hours this afternoon. can you see what is happening? it is getting eroded away, finally. they just developed, sat in the valley all day, and never changed, but today it is going away. that is because there is a weak cold front ringing in slightly drier air. not to say we won't still develop patchy areas of isolated fog of our own. we are good at doing that, but we aren't going to be importing the central valley's thick blanket of fog tomorrow morning, and that has been the real issue. big improvement. pretty view looking out

so watch the areas over here with the east bay valleys in the delta and the north bay valleys. this will start creeping back in again. if we go back to the visibility map, and these are the right now numbers, already starting to see visibility go down. concord at 3.0 is telling you how far down you can see so you can see 3 miles down the road which isn't bad. but this is the start and that is how it starts creeping in. by the morning we will likely see that down to half a mile or less which is what it is been for the past few days. we have even had some issues on the peninsula. and through the east bay and we are checking out the san mateo bridge earlier and that was fine but a few days ago it was having major issues. wherever you are tomorrow, give yourself extra time for some fog. temperatures out there are now okay in the mid-50s and the morning those are not bad and we do see a few that -- and the fog burns off by 11 in the morning and there will be plenty of sunshine and we warm back up to above average temperatures and i will show you how we cool down here. let's see wher

light offshore breeze, may bring more into the east bay valley. clearly there's no rain here. you have fog, you have air quality issues, had is the likely source, high pressure kind of centered right over northern california in the bay area. it will trend a little stronger towards thursday. then we are hopeful it will back off just far enough to allow for a chance of seeing some rain or showers move down into northern california. so for now the best chance we may begin to see, any rain chances in the extended forecast, you might have to wait until about next monday. but stay tuned on this. some recent model runs have pushed more of this inland, which could involve gusty winds. so keep an eye on that forecast. we know we are on cruise control for the next seven days. not much change. mid to 60s in san francisco. we are already into december. look at the temperatures, it is not going to feel like it. 70s for most of the valley for the middle part of the week. next weekend trending dry, and towards the ten-day forecast is where things get interesting. we will continue to fine tun

do you see the tule fog filling the central valley? you can't see it dissolving. it had not done that over the last four days, stayed in the valley, filling it with fog everyday. then overnight, spilling into the bay area. this morning, a cold front came through and you can actually see the fog getting pushed out of here. another way to visualize what happened is watching the water vapor select where you can see the ded line. a cofrugh the overnight and help to clear out some of the fog. we may still make our own fog at home in the mornings, it will be cold enough and we have enough moisture. we still have some patchy fog possible tomorrow but we will not see the huge sea of tule fog in the east bay valleys or the delta, that will not happen tomorrow. morning lows in the low-50s but currently we are in the low to mid-60s. we have cooled down for daytime highs for the last few days, part of the same pattern to clear the fog is ushering in somewhat cooler air with morning lows going back down in the low and mid-40s tomorrow. watch for patchy fog but better than the

this is when the valley is in the clear. it is cold and it is in the mid 30s for the northbay valley this morning. it is low to mid 40s for about every other location. this is now a very typical pattern as you start to get into this time of year. you can see the temperatures dipped down in the valley. that is why we have a little bit of isolated fog up there. visibility in santa rosa has gone down to a little below mild. other locations are pretty much fine. so plan on some patchy areas of fog. there is nothing to widespread. you can see how we cleared the fog out. there is an offshore wind happening at this point to the mountains. that helps to dry things out across the bay area. this would be fire weather concern if we had to think about october. since we got all the rain, we are not worried about that. you can see the streamlines taking all of the wind out of the bay. that dries things out. this is why we were able to start out today without fog. we will be looking at sunny skies. when we top out for daytime highs, 71 for
