"today in the bay's" pete suratos live this morning and pete, there have been some warning signs before this fire even started. this is all associated with illegal fireworks. >> reporter: yeah, good morning, marcus. some witnesses in the area are saying this warehouse fire may have been caused by fireworks. oakland fire says the fire was contained to just this warehouse. i'm going to show you some video from the scene. officials say that it also started around 12:30 a.m. on the 900 block of 77th avenue in oakland. that it started in the roof area of that warehouse. witnesses are saying folks were lighting fireworks in that area for hours before the fire and, in fact, they say they saw firework debris coming down. business owner who is a tenant in the -- at that warehouse says fireworks may have caused a fire saying some of the equipment and wood on his roof combined with the firework debris may have fueled that fire. here's what oakland fire officials told our camera crews at the scene this morning. >> approximately 45 to 50 firefighters were on scene. they're still putting, you know, t
