[♪♪♪] here i am at turn thing point young women's leadership conference. i'm looking forward to speaking to the young women who are here to talk about what they see in the few tear for them and for america. why are you here? >> we are excited to finally get plugged in. judge jeanine: you are here with the young women's leadership up it. what do you think some of the problems are at college campuses today. >> i think women know they have a place as a conservative on college campuses. i go to colleges and high school and talk to conservative women and tell them they do have a place in society and can do a lot as women on the college campuses and can fight back. judge jeani

but if that company was in dallas, iwould be amazed. so dallas, i would be amazed. so the splits have to do with geography, politics and conservatism. also for british audiences, it's important to understand that the biggest decisions on this issue in the united states are made at the state level. so when we talk about italy and britain, president biden does not have the same authority or reach as that. it's what the states do. and what you have to understand is that there are about a dozen states in the united states where a substantial share of the population are resistant to taking the vaccine. another group of states, absolutely everyone wants to take the vaccine. so what business does in those 12 states will be different than what business does particularly on the east or west coast. find business does particularly on the east or west coast.— business does particularly on the east or west coast. and i except of course that — east or west coast. and i except of course that we _ east or west coast. and i except of course that we are _ east or west coast. and

reporter: brittany barnett is an attorney in dallas. her own mother spent two and a half years in the texas state prison system on drug charges. what are these girls missing while their mothers are imprisoned that you are helping them get? >> love, empowerment, encouragement. i remember visiting my mom for the first time in prison and not being able to touch her. we had to visit through the glass. i was devastated of my mom being so close, yet so far away. reporter: across the country, women ke up the fastest-growing segment of the incarcerated population. over the last 40 years, the number of women behind bars has skyrocketed by more than 700%. in texas, which locks up more than any other state, more than 80% of inmate females are mothers. despite the numbers, little is known about the children of incarcerated mothers. >> we don't hear a lot about them. there is a lack of data. even the number of children who have a parent incarcerated in texas, we don't know. i don't understand how this country can invest $80 billion a year in incarce
