carley: interesting. you have got to think if trump does win, what does that mean for the social media companies and how they operate and also what does it mean for users? >> absolutely. look, i think that the implications for the social media companies could be deep. there is a path by which they could actually find in the high court that section 230 is actually unconstitutional when it's applied to, for example, preempting state laws that say you can't discriminate on the basis of political viewpoint. states like florida have recently passed such statutes. i think that could have deep seeded implications for eliminating social media companies to ability to engage in censorship. it also could mean that the social media companies are no longer immune from liability. if they're taking down users' don't willy-nilly. now, for everyday users, i think it could have the effect of really unlocking speech in this country in a way that's been chilled over the course of the last couple of years. in fact, even just
