we see the fog in the north bay as well. over to you. >> yeah, we can see that low visibility in the north bay. but, also, what you can't see are the temperatures and how cold it is this morning. right now we're seeing a lot of these numbers dropping down to the mid-30s and i wouldn't be surprised if a few spots got to freezing this morning. we're feeling that in the south county, but then as we go into the rest of today, spots like santa rosa will go from right near freezing. we're at 33 right now. we'll go to the upper 60s and see sunshine with a milder day, compared to what we're starting with. as we take a look at what's going on around big sur, we've been keeping an eye on what's called the colorado fire. this still burning, but we are getting more containment. looking at the weather conditions in that area, it's now 47 degrees. it's chilly, humidity is coming up and the winds are a lot lighter compared to when this fire first started. hopefully that containment will continue. some of that smoke is and we're going to se

it's very focused through the north bay. the rest of the bay area is doing okay when it comes to the fog. forecasted highs for today, we are going to get afternoon sun. it's not going to be as cloudy as it was in some spots yesterday, and our daytime highs are going to be a little cooler up to the north bay, but very similar down through the south bay. 62 degrees in san jose, 60 degrees in concord. 58 degrees in oakland, 57 in san francisco, and 59 degrees in napa. your air quality outlook, we're going to remain moderate for the most part. i did see a bump in the north bay to 82. this stays within the frame of moderate between 51 and 100 for the air quality index. we should be okay there as well as the long range outlook, that dry pattern still continues, but heading into tonight and into tomorrow, we are expecting to see some of that wind start to kick up, especially for the higher elevation areas in the mountains. so by sunday, that high pressure continues to dominate. it rolls back in in strength. over the next seven days

and south bay at 40. we have more 30s as well through the east bay and the north bay. now, as we move through tomorrow, high pressure continues to keep the sun out for the afternoon and any kind of storm system off tot the north. so, continue drying for us. at the same time, we have this smaller system that is just going to dive right down this area of high pressure on the back side of it. and that's going to increase the wind. now, i don't think it's going to be anything close to what we had on friday and saturday morning. but we are going to see some of these isolated wind gusts. you are going to see here tomorrow morning in the north bay, 20 to 40 miles per hour. the gusts in the mountains, there is the key right there, lower elevations not too bad for that commute. then as we roll through the afternoon, that area expands through the north bay mountains and it would stay at 20 to 40 miles per hour. anywhere from 20 to 25 here through the east bay. also santa cruz mountains. after that, tomorrow night and wednesday, the wind will begin to calm down. so, very isolated
