a bit chillier inland for the east bay valleys and napa 40s tomorrow. i want to take you on a tour of how cool the mornings will be. sunday morning could be about as cold. may see 30s bay side. then the numbers start to warm up. notice the temperature trend for mondays lows. by tuesday, you have temperatures in the 40s and 50s. so the temperatures start to warm up as the clouds increase leading to the next chance of rain coming in. and then i think all areas will get a little bit of rain into tuesday. it is clear to see where most of the rain will be taking out as it goes through next week. most of it to the north around the north bay and areas north of interstate 80. unlike the weather the last couple of weeks where you had several feet of snow and several inches of rain, it looks like mostly areas north of san francisco, painting a similar picture of the bigger rain total north ward ansierra. more manageable totals as we head towards next weekend. maybe two feet or so above five to six thousand feet from the pattern coming in next week. but good news

our morning temperatures will be warming to the 40s and 50s. 52 in napa. 54 in livermore. and wind speeds will pick up during the day tomorrow. look at the upper peninsula here. north bay locations. that's probably where some of the top wind gusts will be tomorrow evening. winds 20 to 30 miles per hour. if you're traveling over the saj mateo bridge, and richmond, san rafael bridge. now, rain totals will be sparse to start. most of it up in the north bay, early on. by the evening, seeing scattered showers. in futurecast, there's not rain showing up over one location for a long period of times. just a few pockets of elevation, maybe up on the hills and the mountains, getting a half-inch of rain. we'll see a few days of this. more substantial rain could come on friday. that's probably the best looking weather system of the series. as we head towards saturday, showers begin to wind down. all of this mostly beneficial rain. the north bay will see the most, with the average of two to three inches of rain. we might get one or two feet of snow. most of the rain is low impact but n

temperatures right now already down to 39 degrees in napa. watching those north bay and inland east bay valleys for patchy fog. most of it right now still off to the east of solano county. but by tomorrow morning, solano county, inland contra costa county seeing patchy fog and then a high few clouds passing by. 30s and 40s to start. while not as warm as the temperatures we had this weekend, once we pass lunchtime into the afternoon, we should still see mid-60s closer to san jose. low 60s around the tri-valley with hazy sunshine and into the north bay, but trending a little bit cooler around half moon bay into san francisco and oakland. so the pattern change coming up isn't really showing up very much in the seven-day forecast because friday, the first system in the series kind of falls apart as it gets closer to the bay area. but the bigger changes are lurking just after the end of next weekend. so that does run a little bit beyond sunday there in the forecast. but as we move into february now, we're beginning to see cooler temperatures, more
