joining me now is opinion columnist zach stafford. it's great to see you. great to have you with us. let's talk a little bit about this verdict. what was your reaction to the guilty verdicts for arbery's killers, even with all the video evidence that emerged. did the verdict surprise you and did they bring you a sense of relief, as they did for me? >> yeah, you are know, it surprised me because we never see verdicts like this. we rarely see these verdicts they're very, very rare for black men in america to have any semblance of justice when it comes to be shot in the streets by police or pedestrian folks out and about. i do have a glimmer of hope. i know the judge said he hoped this verdict would allow us to be on the path of healing. even when trials like this, the fact that we're having this trial shows there's so much much to do. this is still a huge issue we need to solve and the fact that their lawyer said after the verdict this is a really hard day for these men because they thought they were doing the right thing even after all of this evidence shows
