police three people who were arrested for robbing the nordstrom store in walnut creek earlier this month, are now scheduled to appear in court tomorrow. 30 year old dana dawson, 32 year old joshua underwood and 19 year old rodney robinson are set to be arraigned on charges including robbery, burglary, organized retail theft. conspiracy and receiving stolen property. the three suspects were among dozens of people who stormed that department store on the evening of november. 20th several nordstrom employees were pepper sprayed, punched and kicked. the search continues tonight for dozens of other people who were involved in similar smash and grab break ins across the bay area. recently at least nine people are facing felony charges following those organized thefts that we saw at stores in san francisco's union square, and governor newsom is promising state resources to help local law enforcement. deal with this problem. we need to investigate these crimes. we need to break up these crime rinks, and we need to make an example out of these folks. along with san francisco. there have been simi

state attorney general rob bonta announced a settlement today in a judgment against amazon on some of the company's actions during the pandemic. attorney general bonta made that announcement outside in amazon facility in san francisco's potrero hill neighborhood, he says throughout the pandemic, amazon left its employees in the dark about the prevalence of covid at its warehouses across the state. and failed to share legally required information. amazon has agreed with the judgment which bonta filed today in court. amazon's practices lead to workers not knowing if they had been potentially exposed to 20 or even 200 cases of covid-19. this left many workers understandably terrified and powerless to make informed decisions to protect themselves and to protect their loved ones. under the judgment agreement, amazon will change how it notifies workers and state and local health agencies about infections. it will also submit to monitoring and pay $500,000 to the state pharmacists at kaiser hospitals across northern california were on the job today after reaching a tentative agreement. to av
