let's get a look outside at our berkeley hills. and you can see that pocket of air that we have those clouds all blanket in the bay area this morning in some areas denser than others. so let's check out our podcast. she was impacted. talked about the delta. we're also looking to the south bay san jose mountain view. look at you there. up and napa, nevada and santa rosa visibility is impacted later on the day around 1030. we start to see some improvement there and into the afternoon, conditions have improved and we're no longer at that. a really, really poor visibility. looking at the air quality in the north bay, the coast east bay and south bay. it is moderate today and so be mindful of that as you're going to be out and about right now. let's get a look at your current temperatures. if you're leaving the house 49 in oakland. 52 in berkeley conquer dublin all lower 40's the final petaluma, santa rosa, all low 50's sam a tail and redwood city in the low 50's. all right. let's switch gears now let's get a look at traffic. if you are

looking from the berkeley hills made a couple patches of fog developing you may have noticed too well, that haze developing the atmosphere high-pressure very strong. we get what's called an inversion that point, the atmosphere, the temperature actually goes up with height. the kind of acts like a cap on the atmosphere and hold all the pollutants down below. so we see in some of the building up with that strong ridge. we're likely to see more of that on the way high pressure sitting over head. it's just fluctuating a bit. you get these cold fronts that will drop over the top of it in a weakened slightly. and then rebuild right behind it. and that means, well, we've got a lot of dry weather ahead. unfortunately, it looks like as we head in toward december. here's a look at some of the winds they've been seeing some very gusty santa ana winds in southern california. red flag warnings are up there until 6 o'clock this evening. forecast for those winds even in the bay area becoming more offshore again overnight tonight and it's tomorrow morning. then by the afternoon, we'll pick up a littl

probably the rest of us looking outside at your berkeley hills camera up there. some cloud cover overhead visibility is okay in berkeley, but the further inland you get. that's where fog east of conditions are. we do have some dense fog advisories to note this morning for the inland east bay across the north bay and especially on to the central valley. we have some valley fog that is formed in patches going to hold you up. as far as visibility goes a little bit. it's just taking a little bit slower as you do leave the house. otherwise conditions are dry and cooperating for your tuesday morning commute. we saw a weak frontal boundary just skirting north of the bay area yesterday. this enough to result in a few sierra showers. but the bay area staying dry because of a ridge of high pressure that's keeping any sort of rainfall away from us. so we continue this dry trend of weather we've had for a few days today into tomorrow and in the daytime hours on thursday. this is before next chance of rainfall which does eventually get here thursday night into friday morning.
