this is arlington county. it's geographically small, but this produces -- joe biden got 80.6% of the vote here last year. and since this isn't quite functional yet, adam, do you know what type of vote we're looking at in arlington county here? this is key. this looks like we're getting the early vote reported out in arlington county. and i do have a point of comparison here for 2020. the absentee early vote -- okay. it was 85% for joe biden. the early absentee vote in 2020 was 85% and it looks like mcauliffe is running a couple points behind that. again, there was a ten-point cushion in the state for democrats. biden beat trump by ten points. mcauliffe can afford some slippage tonight from where trump ran in this state. so in arlington county, he ends up two to three points behind where biden ran, that one good news for terry mcauliffe. this is just one of those core vote-producing areas for democrats. this is the city of fairfax county. inside fairfax county is fairfax city. fairfax city is much smaller than

again, my question tonight is not when you look at a fairfax county or arlington county or something like that. it's not can loudoun win it but can youngkin cut 10 or 15 points off of trump's lost. that will be key for republicans. >> well, and that's really of course and that's when the question comes if he does that, willie, democrats have to start asking themselves whether they have to retool their message, whether they have to retool their strategies proving forward because they are not going to be running against donald trump and they'll not be able to run against donald trump in 2024 as much as the democratic party fears donald trump politically. trump actually is a guy that lost to hillary clinton by 3 million votes in 2016, only won of the day because of anthony weiner's laptop and comey and a number of other things and the comey letter coming out of that laptop. they got a guy who obviously they loathe in office but you look at race like this and when trump removes from the equation, youngkin has removed trump from the equation and suddenly, people look at republicans and de

president biden laying a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier today and delivering remarks at arlington national cemetery on this veteran's day, a day the president said is personal for him and his family acknowledging his son, beau, who served in the army and that thousands of other service members and all their families. this year with the removal of forces from afghanistan, veteran's day has taken on a new meaning for many looking to honor the veterans who played a part, and their families, in america's 20 years of war there. just last month, congressman jason crow and mike gallagher passed bipartisan to build a memorial on the national mall honoring those service members who fought in the war on terror. the bill sits waiting this the senate. crow a former army ranger said this upon the bill's passage in the house, quote, those of us who have served now the transformative power of a sacred place where the american people can come to reflect, to remember, and to heal, a permanent tribute in our nation's capitol will go a long way in honoring those who served this country over the past
