what you do get in the crest of the sierra. that's where you're looking at that snow having accumulated overnight, including routes like highway 50 and i 80 now for the bay area. things have certainly quieted down pretty evident here on radar. we'll zoom in on a couple of spots that we're still seeing some showers. those showers of work a little bit further south from fremont and from hayward and union city. although your roadways are wet skies of at least dried out temporarily for you where those showers have headed. well, that's a little bit further south just east of milpitas up above the foothills above san jose can actually see some pretty good rainfall intensity just east of milpitas right now as far as shower activity goes on the south into the peninsula. we are seeing most of our rainfall concentrated in upper elevations. but if you are traveling to a year doing so with some very slick conditions right now from woodside. as you head down towards los gatos. you are looking at some areas of light rainfall continuing even

snow is just now starting to pick up in the sierra nevada. it won't be a significant snowfall. but our first snow of the season. great to be seeing that this low pressure area steering along with it. the cooler air today is going to be the coolest day of this forecast and our best chance of showers, which really is just a limited chance of a few sprinkles mostly in the upper elevations of the east bay and the south bay and right along one oh, one south of san jose. as you can see on futurecast. it really is this year that's winning out of the system. we see plenty of sunshine today, resurgence of cloud cover later on and a few early morning sprinkles tomorrow before the sun even comes up. so probably won't even notice what we have going on early tomorrow morning once the sun does come up and does so with clear skies and saturday and sunday are going to be beautiful. crystal clear days with highs back into the 70's. really nice weather for the rest of fleet week weekend. as i mentioned, a lot, today's our coolest one. so i want to stress to yo
