i have been home in oregon for a couple of weeks. but the week before i left d.c. i had dinner with joe manchin and we worked through a lot of stuff. i will continue to talk to him. i understand him. i have got a red district. his is blazing red. i have a lot of the same issues he does with my rural areas and that. so we have a fair amount in common. i will continue my conversations with him and hopefully they will come along. i haven't seen hard and fast lines in the sand. they have expressed concerns about the total spending but not saying they don't want to do a bill and not saying -- i have not heard any of the president's programs proposed they say they are opposed to. jacqueline: write. -- right. did you have dinner on each one of each other's houseboats? rep. defazio: they are not houseboats, they are real votes. my colleague has a yacht, it is quite a bit bigger than mine, but no. they move, they are real. we had dinner at the club and they had very good food at a reasonable price. jacqueline: have you lived on a boat throughout your entire three or four ye
