i'm a constituent of yours, president of florida. what you plan to do about these new mask guidance from the cdc? is there any potential we could have mandate band in florida? i know you signed an executive order but is there a legislative situation to ban mandates? >> we've already done it. i signed a law in june that terminates local governments ability to impose restrictions or mandates on individuals or businesses. that's not happening in florida and it certainly will not happen by me or at the state level as well. the one area where we did necessary legislate was with the school district so last school year some school districts have mask policy and others didn't. many private schools have mask optional and same with charter schools. the results were no different, there were not major outbreaks no matter what so this coming school year, every district in florida planned on doing optional for masks and i think that's the right policy. the cdc comes in and says every single person in a school, students, teachers and staff have to

so instead of two florida land falls it looks like one on monday up in the florida panhandle, perhaps somewhere between pensacola and panama city. and look at the other system following fred's footsteps directly footsteps. that's tropical storm grace forming overnight with 40 mile-per-hour winds. that one could become a hurricane next week and, again, threatening florida. fred is more than annoyance this weekend not too much strong for much worry but definitely a rainmaker. >> the dominican republic republican haiti have already seen what the storm is all about this wednesday. rain, lots of rain. and a lot of street flooding on areas like south florida that are already, well saturated. the miami and fort lauderdale area is no longer in the cone of concern but still with 3 to 7 inches of rain possible today and tomorrow, several sandbagging stations were set up from miami all the way north to tallahassee for those worried about flooding. a tropical storm warning remains in effect for half of the florida keys. no longer all of the keys, it starts here in marathon, seven mile bridge and
