pete najarian, what do you have? >> i'm going to start off, scott, with a stock really surprising me. william sonoma what surprises me is this. back in april this is $180 stock. in the last month it's been between 150 and 165. today stock a little over 154. and we had some very, very interesting buyers 5,000. this is what makes it more unusual. they're going out to november, scott, buying the november 170 calls, stock at 154.5 theres with 170 calls. selling the downside put somebody very bullish saying if it's don the downside i'm happy owning i think it's going up. mattel, the next one what makes this interesting, this is a stock came out with earnings yet we have the follow-up with options they're buying 8,000 of next week's expiring the august 6th expiring 21 calls. going between 45 cents and 65 cents. very expensive because the stock traded just above 21, about 21.25 at the time of the buying. look for a bit more upside there. the transformation is in place the growth is there for martell. the yoe is very, very b

pete, trade it or fade it? >> absolutely trade it i think because of the fact that it is given you an opportunity here, i think that the ev market is going to be huge for them we all talk about it i know steve believes it as well but it is not here yet you're 100% right. but as you look toward the future of the company, that is the direction. in the meantime, you could look at the commercial line and that is going to give them a lot of great opportunities to go forward and since it is pulled back, i think it is gotten too cheap and i think this is a stock that could bounce and spring board back and maybe test the recent highs >> okay. finally, still hard, maybe not in the future, but right now still hard to run most cars with gas and oil or without it rather and oil prices moving higher, too. you have exxon-mobil reporting on friday. mike, trade or fade exxon? >> fade it now that i figured out how to play this game here is the thing. exxon has some games of its own to play. so the thing is, here is a company th

trace that's true. >> pete is with me on the phone. pete you hear me. >> yes, sir. >> thank you for calling in. double dose of the najarians today. what's going on with you today >> well, a couple of things, scott. i've been watching apple really closely. had 12 unusual hits in the last two weeks in there, which stock was starting off at $129 a share back on june 14th. it's obviously been running. we've been tracking that everybody tracking that. but gow back to just a week and a half ago they were buying the july 137 strike calls, scott and the stock was significantly lower and the stock exploded since. on tuesday they were bayingo buying the july 149 calls. they continue to extend up because of that when the stock actually was getting hit pretty hard today -- on tuesday the stock got up to 143. yesterday it was almost 145. today it pulled back and was opening at 141 and i was watching it a really long time and kind of hovered around there i decided, up what, i think apple makes a lot of sense all the bullish activity not just in july

pete >> well, every year, atf agents trace nearly 500,000 firearms. that's how many are recovered from crime scenes. so this is an issue intended to deal with one of the pipelines for crime guns criminals get their guns in several ways they steal them. sometimes they buy them from legitimate dealers if they're not qualified, they buy it from somebody who doesn't have to have a background check. this is aimed at straw purchases. that's when someone who is legally entitled to buy a gun makes the purchase for someone else that's illegal it's hard to prosecute there is no gun trafficking statute. so what prosecutors have to do is charge somebody with lying on the federal form to buy a gun. those cases tend to not havey a much jury appeal so garland has ordered a new emphasis on investigating and prosecuting these straw purchase cases this isn't a case of surging more federal man power into these communities. instead, it's an effort to leverage and redirect the existing staff to focus on these cases. now, admittedly, this will not make a huge difference, c
