jillian: janice dean joins us with the latest fox weather forecast. where is it? >> janice: it will make landfall in the next couple hours across the west coast of florida in the tampa area. it is weakening. last night it became a hurricane again. this morning dealing with a lot of upper-level wind and doesn't look as good on satellite radar imagery. we don't want a hurricane. we would perform a storm that is weakening as it makes landfall but we see the same results, heavy rainfall, some storm surge, the risk of tropical tornadoes. we are tornado watch in effect for parts of central western florida and you can see where the heaviest rain bands are coming on sure even inland toward the gainesville area. there is the latest track, new track comes out at 5 am and we will have that for you but potential impact landfall at 8:00 am this morning and it will move quickly towards the southeast, it is going to weaken and parts of the mid-atlantic and northeast might deal with this storm as we get into thursday and friday, a weekending system. tropical storm advisory tweets

be here, um janice america. tani passed away early this morning. they only learned last week that she had been diagnosed with cancer. and so this has been very sudden. obviously she is very beloved as well. we have seen her throughout the years ever since nearly 60 years ago, she was started glide with her husband, reverend cecil williams, the two of them known as community activists as warriors for social justice. who really tried to spread love throughout san francisco. she was also known in her own right as a poet laureate for san francisco, from 2000 to 2000 to a very accomplished poet whose work was known nationwide throughout the world, and she was beloved by the japanese american community. as somebody who spoke out about civil rights, her own family incarcerated by the american government during world war two, um today i spoke with one member of the japantown community who talks about what an icon and she was for both people there as well as throughout san francisco. she's just a role model on so many different fronts to artists in the comm

meteorologist janice dean is here with the fox weather forecast on the storm abstract. what is the latest? >> janice: hurricane watching colluding tampa, florida, the chance to strengthen a little bit, it made its way across cuba relatively intact and the potential across the warm waters of the florida straits to strengthen in the west coast. 74 makes a hurricane and the latest advisory has the storm strengthening to 70 miles per hour, that is 4 miles shy of a hurricane. where you see that sort of orange yellow is where we have a hurricane watch in effect for parts of the big bend and the west coast. there is the past hour or so where we see heavier rainfall, heavier bands moving into the keys, four to six inches for some of these areas, isolated amounts of 8 to 10. there is the forecast radar, we expect landfall tomorrow morning north of tampa, we will feel the effects along the west coast. there is the latest track. wednesday around this time, potential impacts, 70 miles per hour, the issue that hurricane watch, people need to pay attention to the forecast, florida is
