tropical storm watches and warnings are stretching now into georgia and also the carolinas. so let's get right to meteorologist chad myers to tell us what we're keeping our eye on here, chad. >> brianna, the very latest, the 8:00 advisory is out. . still a 65 mile per hour windstorm near cedar key 65 miles ore so. it should make landfall in an hour or so in the northern part of florida. as we talked to dr. ken graham from the national hurricane center yesterday, there is no such thing as only a tropical storm. this storm will produce winds 60 to 65 miles per hour in an area that is saturated from weeks of rain and some of these trees will fall. some of these things will come down on houses and power lines and maybe even your car. winds right now aren't as strong as they will be because the storm is still offshore, but we have some gusts earlier today of around 40 to 45 miles per hour. the storm will eventually get very close to savannah, and just west of myrtle. and still a 40 mile per hour storm. this is still going to pack a punch as it rolls over georgia, as it rolls over

this is the mysterious case that georgia authorities are trying to solve this morning. cnn's ryan young is live near atlanta where all of this unfolded over the weekend. this is so many questions. such a horrific story. where do things stand? >> reporter: it is, if you think about it, this is still an active investigation. you have a murder suspect who is still on the run. if you kind of look behind me, you can see the country club. this is a very quiet neighborhood. in fact, people were shocked to learn about the details about this. what they know so far, someone driving a truck crashes on to this golf course. at some point, that person encounters gene siller, he opens fire, shooting that father of two, leaving him for dead. and when police arrive they find two more bodies of the truck. they believe one of the bodies is the owner of the truck. at this point, that suspect was still on the loose. there was an all-call put out to area homes to see if anybody picked up video of the suspect as they ran away. we don't even have video to share with you. and listen to someone

side, the 19 states where less than 50% is vaccinated, everyone voted for trump, with the exception of georgia. mississippi and louisiana have vaccine rates less than 40% along with idaho, wyoming and alabama. it's stark and worse at the county level. 20 counties that voted most heavily for donald trump had an average vaccination rate of over 20%. there's a lot of noise in the data. overall trends are clear and ominous. cdc graphic, joining counties with case rates less than 40% of the population fully vaccinated. those dark red counties are a covid tinder box, especially in arkansas. paranoid style politics that's infused the vaccine debate. runs the risk of killing people just to own the lips. how many times do we need to hear about people who were hesitant of the vaccine, got sick and instantly regretted it? the right to swing my fist ends where the other man's nose begins. and the decision not to get vaccinated puts other people at risk. this should be called the freedom to infect you crowd. the real blame, those hyper-partisan hucksters who are trying to profit politically from this polar

in georgia, republican secretary of state brad was censured to find 11,000 votes. an audit confirmed the election results. in texas, indicted republican a.g. ken paxton had a special team. spent 22,000 hours searching for voter fraud. and after all that time and taxpayer money, they found 16 minor cases out of 11 million ballots cast. that $1 million reward from texas governor patrick which he offered for evidence of voter fraud still hasn't been paid out despite pennsylvania's lieutenant governor pushing for payment in exchange for his state's three documented cases of voter fraud which were all from republicans. that hasn't stopped some keystone state republicans from trying to keep false claims alive even after the audits showed the results were accurate. they're one of five states trying to follow the arizona fraud-it being announced by local republicans as a grift disguised as an audit and insane lies. it's even more absurd because the audits were done in arizona and found no fraud. so take a step back. look at the results of these audits and recounts and repu
