joining me now for a reaction to all this, arizona attorney general, mark byrne of h. attorney general, thanks for joining us. this is an outright disaster, can, congrats on the big win. we have a place we can turn in our ballots, are you ready for? it's called a voting location. i know it's crazy, and it's worked for a long time. this is a huge win. explain what it means for the rest of the country where this is happening in other places. >> think you for having me on. it's quite frankly as simple as this, the democratic national committee and other left-wing groups have systematically tried to file lawsuits against the state and simply shortly before elections so they can use their organizations to manipulate the boat. they challenge arizona's limitations on out of precinct voting and about harvesting, they essentially said they were racist, unconstitutional and violated the voting rights act. we had a ten day trial, we defended those statutes, and we won. the ninth circuit overturned that -- i know, i'm going to get a complaint. the lefties are filing bar complaints

of delaware and others aren't so easy in cities like arizona. so there are going to be differences. the supreme court will uphold, i predict, will uphold voter registration, voter identification and maybe even signature verification. they may not uphold some other issues that have had a disparate impact. we are seeing arguments on the extremes. one side is saying the argument was wrong and the other side is saying evidence was stolen. but we could do better. the goal is to maximize the number of eligible voters to actually come out and vote and minimize and maybe make zero the number of ineligible voters on the number of fraudulent and votes.n we can do that and we can do that without racial disparity and illegal actions. let's get back to that goal. the one in the ap, both in 2008 and 2012, the rate of african-american voter participation exceeded that of white americans in those two elections. big jared, your thoughts overall? >> garlands lawsuit against georgia is ludicrous. in fulton county come the double counting of ballots as you outlined

we begin this hotly contested issue of voting rights to three truffles for publican backlogs in arizona that invalidate outcast in the wrong precinct and criminalize collection of mail-in ballots by third-party. ballot harvesting, rejecting claims that these restrictions make it harder for minorities to vote. let's bring in our panel. deputy editorial page editor, dan henninger. bill mcgurn had editorial board number, kyle peterson. bill, i thought this was a big decision and it being maligned as a guiding of the voting rights act, is that how you read what they did? >> not at all. i think you put your finger on it, paul. all the reporting i further weakening voting rights act. if you read the opinion, it doesn't stand out. a better description would be it came out for its reasonable state laws designed to ensure the integrity of these elections this is part of scare tactics. i think it was a huge decision and also what i did was provide a hedge against what i believe progressives want which is federal court to take over election. this is the judicial parallel to hr one, they want the f

an election audit in maricopa county in arizona is happening. it's also turning up the shocking results. according to the arizona senate president, "companies hired by the legislature to review the election results came up with a different number of ballots then maricopa county officials." tonight we don't know the exact discrepancy, as the audit is now ongoing. but this has to be concerning ag development for everybody that wants integrity and elections. integrity of our elections, confidence in election results, it is paramount to the survival of our great republic. i often cite several measures that all states should adopt. voter identification, signature verification, chain of custody integrity, voter rolls being updated for every election, and most states have statutory language that partisan observers be allowed to watch of the vote count, all political sides, they should watch the count from start to finish. audits and investigations also play an important role, while audits can be painful and they can be expensive and time-consuming, and

if there is action from the arizona state senate from this issue has it not not happened yet. 47,000 mail in ballots received never mailed that appears to be based on data that does not show the total mail-in vote and does not reflect the total early vote either. something acknowledged by the third party audit itself. audited to the roll after the election and still voted. again maricopa county officials say provisional votes go through a rigorous are verification process to ensure validity. they say only eligible voters added to the rolls, again, they are in charge of that election. also the trump claim that all access logs to the voting machines were wiped was debunked back in may by the republican chairman of the county board of supervisors. former president trump claims the election server was hacked during the election. maricopa county says its election server is not connected to the internet and independent auditors found no evidence of a breach there. as we reported last week, there have been a total of 182 potential fraud cases referred to investigators in arizona. only four
