elizabeth greenway joins us now. walk us through the decision-making process. why are we skeptical do beto ben with and what changed your mind? >> yes, hi, ryan, thanks for having me on. to start i was so concerned with how new it was. i was worried about the side effects, short term and long term. i know they have studies, of course, that they do before opening it to the public even under an emergency use authorization. but i was just concerned that those trials are limited in scope and number and so was just nervous about what this look like long term for me. so i credit prayer with sort of bringing it altogether for many i think it's important to mention that. because if you look at the statistics, there is a lot of others like me that are skeptical a. lot of conservative christians. so, i had not given up on doing research. i was doing research. i wantled to see if this was something that felt safe and i happened to see dr. paul offit from philadelphia hospital on a number of news programs talking about side effects and other components of the vaccine. and

the threat is still with us. there's increased awareness by businesses and they're looking at mandating workers similar to the government has on being vaccinated. the eeoc stated that employers can do this. they are allowed to mandate their employees be vaccinated as a condition to coming back to work. the question now is should they. we know mandates are a polarizing issue. introducing that into the workplace brings for the complexities that can arise. light now, what we are advising businesses is to set a strategy within the organization to encourage workers to get vaccinated. communicate with them benefits of it, in some cases, incentivize them to get vaccinated prior to mandating some sort of process of vaccination. at the end of the day businesses have responlded, this will be a business decision. walmart, disney, google have taken measures to make the decision to vaccinate some or all employees. the spread of the virus moving forward is going to dictate whether or not businesses mandate or have a voluntary

none of us knew what we were dealing with at first. there were times when the phone like they were doing could. obviously especially the scientists, they were learning as they went, unmasks and stuff they had no idea initially if it worked. stories of change in some ways that's understandable but there was definitely a point after election and especially after the inauguration when, for some of them the spin really begin the revisionist history. yasmeen and i were meticulous in our fact checking because so many of the stories contradicted and we really wanted to make sure we gave readers and accurate presentation of these events because these are events they need to be remembered for decades to come. there's a lot of finger-pointing at the end. there was a lot of, i i did te best i could but that person was a monster kind of stuff. and so i think the knives really cannot especially after january 6th with people felt like the administration was burning to the ground. it made a harder for us to givep going back and reconciling. i know we
