he was transported to a hospital in castro valley where he died. now to the north bay again and to bron police say a man who claimed to be a kidnap victim was arrested yesterday and riverside county on suspicion of stealing a car. this all happened on monday when a crossing guard told police his car was stolen. police say the victim told them he had let the suspect mitchell powell borrow the car but could not reach him to find out when he was coming back. but text messages sent from the victim's phone inside the car to the officer's phone suggested that powell may have been kidnapped and was unable to return the car to bryan police put an alert out to other agencies. and that's how riverside police were able to locate powell after starting the spotting the car in riverside county. powell was arrested and booked into the riverside county jail. police say there was no evidence of a kidnapping and they're now helping the victim get his car back. switching gears and we'll talk about our forecast right now as we take a live look outside along the san ma
