a grandmother on long island keeps herself from becoming a crime victim. someone called jean evert, claiming to be her grandson, saying he needed $8,000 for bail. then a bogus bail bonds man showed up. but jean had already called the cops. that man is now under arrest. fox news white house correspondent got a phone call from president biden last night after a hot mic moment. the president used colorful language to describe him apparently not realizing his mic was still on. but the reporter is taking it all in stride. this morning the white house confirms president biden has now cleared the air with a fox news correspondent after using an obscenity to describe him. >> what a stupid son of a [ bleep ]. >> reporter peter doocy had asked about inflation, which is on topic for the white house event, unlike other reporters who were trying to ask about ukraine.
