trying to skip town on the first day of her trial. the woman worked as a secretary at a concentration camp and claims she was not aware of the killings that occurred there. but anyone who helped at a camp can be prosecuted as accessory to those murders. despite her age she's being tried in juvenile court because at the time she was under 21 years old. police in wisconsin have released some dramatic video from a shootout. a warning, it is tough to watch. it started when greenfield police tried to make a traffic stop. the driver took off and crashed. that's when the driver opened fire at police through his windshield. one officer was hit. police shot and killed the driver. there are new questions about the death of gabby petito and whereabouts of her fiance, brian fbi ents paid another visit to his parents' florida home after new information emerged about contacts with police. this morning newly-uncovered police reports are shedding new

light on the gabby petito case and the search for her fiance brian laundrie. now, according to records obtained by abc news, officers were called to the laundrie family home multiple times before petito was reported missing. police responded to the home twice on september 10th, three times on september 11th, which is the day the family reported her missing. the nature of the calls has not been revealed. petito's father reportedly made all the calls concerned about gabby's whereabouts. laundrie has been missing for two weeks after returning from a trip without gabby. >> can you tell us why you were at the laundrie house? >> reporter: fbi agents returned to the laundrie home yesterday spending time inside the house and inside the camper brian and his parents took on a trip just days before he went missing. the laundrie family attorney says agents collected personal items to, quote, assist the k-9s in their search. >> i would say that the idea that they want to continue with

>> it's only been out for two weeks and well on its way to surpassing "bridgerton" as streamed to 82 million accounts as netflix's biggest original series of all time. >> for the first time, you're seeing real appetite for projects from overseas, the kinds of shows that maybe we haven't seen before. there's a unique aspect to that where people are hungry for something new and different. "squid game" is definitely new and different. >> it's easy to understand why people liked "bridgerton", but why are so many people watching a brutal show about a dystopian death game? >> we like to be scared. and it appeals to something in us that helps us to focus on what we're watching. it takes our mind away our stresses.
