near dallas. that's zoe, the 15-year-old lab was trapped in arlington inside a storm drain. making the rescue more difficult, zoe is deaf. crews worked for 11 hours to dig up the road and get her free. apart from some dehydration, we've got good news here, zoe is okay. in colorado, a high school volleyball coach said he was pressured to resign because he is gay. and this morning, his former employer is responding. the controversy all started with a facebook post. >> they said i had two options. the first option was to -- sorry, was to denounce that i was gay. >> reporter: he's a christian, a volleyball coach and a gay man. >> i said, you know, basically my dreams of marrying another man would have to just stop. >> reporter: it's his sexuality that's caused him to lose his job at valor christian high school in highland, colorado.

>> reporter: not so fast, paulette. a new study suggests eating one hot dog takes 36 minutes off of your life. new research from the university of michigan evaluating more than 5800 foods, ranking them by their nutritional disease burden to humans. a beef hot dog on a bun resulting in 36 minutes lost, largely due to the detrimental effect of processed meat. if that headline stresses you out, imagine what joey chestnut's thinking. >> put down your hot dogs. hello, joey. does he need to be worried that all these hot dogs are taking years and years off of his life? >> i think if you're eating hot dogs in a joey type of way, this could be a turning point in your life to maybe cut back a little bit. if you enjoy hot dogs once in a while, completely fine, everybody wants to have fun foods in their life, and that's part of enjoying eating. >> in competition alone, joey
